How can one be sure that mySmoothie is pure?
The terms "100% pure", “100% juice” and “100% fruit” are legal terms that guarantee that you are drinking only pure juice and fruit, not sweetened water or a diluted beverage. mySmoothie is 100% pure because there is only fruit in the recipe and no additives or preservatives.

What are the true facts about concentrates?
A concentrated juice is when the natural water contents have been removed and later put back. The concentration process works under vacuum at temperatures lower than those used during pasteurization. Concentration is carried out in a manner that protects the nutrients. Many orange juices made from concentrate have a higher vitamin-C content than NFC (Not from Concentrate) orange juice. Furthermore, official taste tests have proven that it is not possible to tell the difference between NFC and high quality concentrates.

We use small amounts of concentrates, because we truly believe that this is the best option, not just for the taste and nutritional values, but also for the environment in terms of less shipping volume. We do not compromise on quality for anything.

In what way does mySmoothie care for the environment?

Packaging
Carton packaging is the most environmentally friendly drinks container available; it comes from a renewable source: wood! And the wood always comes from a sustainable forest. Wood scrap is used for cartons and we’re proud to tell you that in Sweden 2 trees are planted for 1 harvested.

Our cartons are packed in trays made from recycled paper; transportation of these trays is the most efficient way in comparison to glass and PET bottles. They’re lighter and they can be packed tightly together.

No energy is used for refrigeration during transportation and storage, and the carton packaging after consumption can be squashed flat to 6% of it’s original volume, therefore far more quantities can be transported for re-cycling compared to glass or PET bottles. The cartons can be recycled 5-7 times, and used as paper, paper bags etc.

Fruits and Berries
We pick berries locally when the seasons allow us; they’re untreated because they grow naturally in the forest which happens to be next door to our Swedish mySmoothie factory. The unsprayed blueberries we use in mySmoothie contribute towards a healthier environment.

How to recycle our cartons
Please contact your local authority to ask when they will have a Tetra Pak collection scheme up and running.
Drop of points at supermarkets and special centres can be used.
Otherwise recycle with your other paper.

How is mySmoothie produced?
mySmoothie is made in our own grade A factory in Sweden. We use a mega-blender to mix whole berries, fruit pulp and juice into smoothies. The mix is then packed in a sterile environment, to protect vitamins and flavour and shield the product from microbes.

How long does mySmoothie stay fresh?
mySmoothie has a shelf life of 12 months without preservatives and additives. Our unique aseptic packaging technique protects the vitamins and taste.

What’s the story behind mySmoothie?
mySmoothie was founded by former Miss Sweden, Domenique Forsberg. She absolutely loves fruits and berries and thought making smoothies on an industrial scale would be a great way to make a living. mySmoothie was launched in October 2004 at the World Trade show SIAL in Paris. It was an overnight success and Domenique took help from Peter Larsson a friend from school and now the CEO of myGoodness SA. mySmoothie is currently being sold in over 20 countries.
